About Me
For over 25 years, art has been at the center of my life, first as my own creative practice, and for the past 15+ years, as something I get to share with students.
I began teaching art professionally in 2003 at Word of Life Academy in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I spent seven years developing hands-on curriculum for classes of 20 students, guiding them through foundational drawing, color theory, and art history. Since then, I've continued teaching through private and small-group mentorship, working one-on-one with emerging artists on technique, critique, and creative growth.
Alongside teaching, I've built a career as a working artist. I run Edenz Garden, my own creative studio, where I produce custom fine art across a range of media; ink, chalk, acrylic and oil paint, and pencil. I've collaborated with clients and design teams on commissioned work and event installations, and I hold a specialized certificate in Faux Finishing from Belle Arts Fine Faux Finishing Studio.
